Horse racing and Arabian horse championships are some of the most frequent events for Lumasky drone shows.
This time, a 700 drone show in UAE lit up the sky above the Ajman Horse Festival. With drones, flash drones, fireworks and music, it became one breathtaking visual story.
Yet, large-scale events come with its own technical challenges.
Drone shows should be fully visible for all audiences ー even at this festival, where spectators sat in covered tents around the arena. That’s why we carefully finetuned animation positioning to keep them visible from every angle.
Combining drones with fireworks is another challenge we face at grand events. In Ajman, the drone and pyrotechnic zones operated extremely close to each other. Together with the pyro team, flight paths and shared airspace had to be coordinated almost centimeter by centimeter — making every effect move safely as part of one continuous show.
