300 Drones to Make a Delicious Offer
The iconic Ferrero candies now come in ice-cream. We needed to make the announcement of the new treats very much appealing.
If we had 3,000 drones, designing the images with an incredible advertising effect would be easy. But there were only 300 drones booked for this project. So, we took the most out of this amount and designed the silhouettes of Kinder Bueno, Raffaello and Ferrero Rocher meticulously, making some of them 3D-shaped for better visual perception. For the same purpose, after several attempts of fine-tuning the drone light colors, we managed to reach a brand color match.
All this allowed the viewers to recognize their favorite sweets at first glance and want to taste them right away.
How We Made Drone Show Give Goosebumps
The client’s specific wish was to make every single aspect of the show super impressive.
First, we proposed not to waste one second of the show. Normally, it takes the drone swarm 30-50 seconds to fly up and start building formations. But we programmed the drones to move in fancy colorful spirals the moment they got off the ground. The same during landing. It instantly took the people’s breath away.
Also, we wrote a soundtrack specifically for the show. However, its 1st iteration didn’t seem to fully match the energy of the Ferrero drone performance. To perfect it, we made an intro more dynamic, intensified percussion parts, and increased the tempo of the composition by several beats per minute. The music turned more dramatic, and produced a wowing effect along with the delicious visual.
It was the 2nd time Domino Production engaged us as a reliable drone show company capable of delivering amazing turn-key drone shows. We’re sure there are more exciting projects to come in this tandem.
