The “Cena de Las Emociones 2024” charity gala on January 11 at the Fendi Château Residences in Punta del Este was a resounding success. It gathered dignitaries such as President Dr. Luis Lacalle Pou and Vice President Beatriz Argimón to support the Maldonado Regional Hemocenter and the first regional mother’s milk bank in the east of the country. Noteworthy attendees from national and diplomatic circles contributed to a significant fundraising achievement, assisted by the enthusiastic auctioneering of Juan Castells and the auction of art pieces by Pablo Atchugarry.
As the event drew to a close, attendees were invited to witness a grand finale—an incredible drone light show by the Lumasky drone show company. The night sky of Punta del Este was transformed into a canvas of lights as 400 drones danced in unison, captivating both gala participants and the throngs of beachgoers at Playa Mansa’s Stop 17. Iconic symbols of the event were shown: a dolphin diving into the water, a mother and child, a heart, logos of the organizers, the word “gracias” and much more.
