The festival, serving as the premier event for the Liwa Sports Club and organized in collaboration with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, has garnered immense attention. By the end of 2022, it had successfully attracted more than 20,000 visitors and participants.

Set against the majestic backdrop of Liwa City’s “Moreeb Dune” in Abu Dhabi, the festival surprised all guests with a New Year’s gift—an incredible drone light show.1500 drones featured a countdown, a ‘Happy New Year’ greeting, and iconic symbols of the festival such as a camel, a falcon, the festival’s logo, a car silhouette, and more.
