To elevate Eid celebrations and boost the tourist interest in the region, we engineered the impossible at the Lusail Sky Festival: 3,000 drones per night synced with lasers, planes, paramotors, and fireworks.

Drone Formation That Stole the Show
For 3 nights 3,000 drones brought Qatar’s story to life ー morphing from futuristic cityscapes to the glowing “Visit Qatar” logo.
Yet the true breath-taker of this drone show in Qatar? Through a pyro drone portal, a giant diver plunged down to spectators, reaching for a pearl. This powerful tribute to Qatar’s maritime heritage got imprinted vividly in everyone’s memory.
Event pro tip: you know what else is super memorable? Launches over water, like here in Lusail. They don’t just mirror visuals ー they create portfolios worth bragging about.

World’s First Flash Drones in a Drone Display
At the festival, we didn’t just deploy drones. We upgraded the display with the first-ever flash drone prototype. Its stroboscopic lights injected explosive brilliance into key drone formations, enhancing the event’s entire choreography.

Behind the Scenes: Precision Under Pressure
Pulling off a show of this magnitude was anything but easy. Every element demanded perfection:
- a launchpad that could handle 3,000 drones ー requiring custom ground cover and safety zones, all secured against Lusail’s winds
- cross-coordination of 16+ crews (laser techs, air traffic control, fireworks operators) on split-second timing
- a symphony of tech ー drones, pyro, lasers, and aircraft ー all perfectly synced, because even a millisecond’s delay could unravel the magic.
Some call it an operational nightmare. We call it Tuesday.
The result? A breathtaking drone show in Lusail dazzled 340,000 live festival attendees. It proved no challenge is too complex when you’re delivering the world’s most spectacular destination marketing campaign for Qatar.
